"Sweetie," Darlene Ahuna, is just that in every way.  From the moment I was introduced to her through a wonderful friend, Skylark Rossetti, in Hilo, Hawai`i, I knew she would be a start with a completely different character.  Even after winning multiple Hoku awards (Hawai`i's Grammy Awards) for female vocalist of the year, (Ku`u Lei Poina `Ole, CDHS-600) and her singles (Ku`u Sweetie and Kuahiwi Nani), she still cares not only for her `ohana (family), but for her many fans all over the world.  Her continued openness and humbleness make her easily approachable for all.  Her love of life and `ohana are shown everyday in her actions.
